Revolutionary War Weekend

Saturday: Annual Reenactment of the crossing of the Catawba River by the Overmountain Men. See period re-enactors in Revolutionary war dress. Real live musket firings and living history exhibits.

Sunday: Story-telling, living history displays, colonial children's games, colonial food sales and tours of the 1812 Charles McDowell House. Old-style black-smithing exhibition. Sunday's location: 119 St. Mary's Church Rd.- Morganton, NC.
