French Wine Series, Part 1: Burgundy, Bordeaux and Rhone
Let's celebrate winter with some French reds! We will sample:

• Burgundy . . .
  Phillipe Colin Bourgogne Rouge Pinot Noir 2017 (he’s a Rockstar producer), $37.50
  Joseph Burrier Domaine Morgon Grand Cras 2017 (expressive, rich, while still being Beaujolais), $34.99


• Bordeaux . . .
  Chateau de Parenchere Bordeaux Superieur 2016 (Right Bank, 100% Merlot, a best seller), $16.99
  Chateau Batailley Lions de Batailley Pauillac 2014 (Left Bank, Cabernet-based blend; second wine for one of the oldest estates in the Medoc), $55.99


• Rhone . . .
  St. Cosme Cotes du Rhone 2018 (100% Syrah, unoaked; great intro to the Rhone), $16.99
  Autard Chateauneuf du Pape 2017 (old vine Grenache blend; classic big, rich, spicy CDP), $46.99


• Pairing with artisan cheeses
  Cost: $35 per person. Registration/prepayment required. Any of these wines purchased at the tasting will be offered at 10% off for single bottles, 20% off for case discount.

Please note: this will be a fun, informative, educational series about the wines in the region; we will NOT be formally seated for the presentation (although seating will be available).
