Cooter Douglas grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina (when it was a small town), and has been making people laugh ever since he can remember. His comedy looks at life and current events from a very Southern perspective, with a twang. His life lessons come from being a bartender, rugby player, electrician, and as an assistant weed eater for a golf course. He has developed his humor through his occupational deficiencies!
This is the third time the Elks have hosted Cooter, and if you were lucky enough to attend the first event you know what a fun evening awaits!
Tickets are $15 per person at the door. We will have amateur hour from 8-9 and Cooter will perform from 9-11. The dining room is open for dinner that evening as well – call the lodge to reserve a table for dinner, 437-8290. Invite family and friends and help make this event a huge success!
