Singer and songwriter Don Hogan of The Classics and Phil Shirley will be playing a duo on the Old Hampton Store Stage Friday night. They'll be playing a mix of folk, Americana, rock, and country --James Taylor style!

Whether performing with Drive South Bluegrass (his own band), The Classics (Rock, Country, & Blues), Slight Departure (Folk and Old Time) or as a soloist for venues like Grove Park Inn, Don Hogan has had an extensive performing background.

Don traveled to Germany and France for a 3 week tour in 2013 performing with “Carolina Wind”, In 2016 he was honored to do 3 shows with Kristy Cox, the new Bluegrass sensation from Australia performing at Isis Music Hall and MerleFest. Don plays Americana, Bluegrass, Folk, Country, Soft Rock and Singer/Songwriter material with several originals mixed in for flavor.
