"Once Upon a Mattress"

Auditions for the funny, heartwarming musical "Once Upon a Mattress" will take place February 23 and 24 at 7:00 PM at the Old Rock School Auditorium in Valdese. We are looking for 11-13 men and 10-15 women of all ages (although major parts are for actors over 12).

How auditions work:
Everyone will be expected to sing, dance and read from the script. Please come prepared to sing a song of your own choosing that fits your voice. An accompanist will be provided, so bring sheet music.

No prerecorded tracks will be allowed.

Please wear clothes and shoes that you can move in for the dance portion of the audition. The choreographer will teach a brief dance combination and you will be seen in groups for the dance audition. We will cold read from the script, so no monologue is needed.

Most importantly, come ready to have FUN and show us who you are. We love being a welcoming, creative community with room for all! Please come join us!
